Filthiest election ever. As if photographs aren't accurate evidence enough. Go on and live your lies, but by no means will you drag us down under your dictatorship.

Mainstream media has failed us. Once again, we're turning to alternative media for accurate results.

World, please watch. It's a symbol of Malaysia in the making.

Sunday, May 5, 2013
It's a big day for all Malaysians. A moment in history, and whatever the outcome is today; we know it will never be the same again.

I'm not 21 and for that i regretfully am not able to vote. The most I can do is to stand by and offer encouragement to those who are doing their parts.

But i cannot stand by and watch our government condemn us to a life of lies, corruption and dirty games. Want to know what I think?

It's unfair. That word itself is just too neutral for what it's really worth. It doesn't convey enough to get me anywhere. I am angry and I am frustrated.

Despite the Bersih Rally's sole purpose of asking for a fair and clean election with the use of indellible ink, today's ink seemed to wash off just fine after a round under the tap. Who do they take us for? Idiots? (As far as I'm concerned, pictorial evidence speaks more than mere words).

The world is watching. But why do they fight it? We the people are one. As a democracy, we have the right to elect our leaders. Don't their actions signify their reluctance to hand over power as a form of autocracy?

Why do you award identification cards to non-locals, charter flights and bring them in by the thousands, offer them ids for free (with the price of voting for your party), pay off the public to attend your talks, give handouts and promise citizens cash if they vote for you (it's not your money to offer). Are you really that afraid? Your determintation to win this election only further fuel our desire to get you out of office. We've been set back by years all due to your greed and desire for more.

It is not fair. You've got the IC department under your clutches F having them issue out ids to whoever who promises to vote for you.

Why not let Malaysians working in Singapore do postal voting? Why can't 18 year olds vote when you've got foreigners voting for you? You don't want what's best for us.

'UBAH'  that's all we ask for.

It's funny how you bring up talks of May 13th, so keen to remind us; almost as if you're threatening us. Today is the 5th of May, 2013. Let it go down in the history of Malaysia.

What we ask for is clear - CHANGE.

Tonight's a big night for us. I'm sure the entire world is aware - unless they aren't bothered with other countries' politics. Malaysia's 13th general election will be held tomorrow. And we the public only ask for one thing - CHANGE.

I want to say so much more than I'm saying right now. But tomorrow's results may or may not cause utter chaos and pandemonium. I pray for the best and I'm hoping for fairness - because fairness is not something that we have seen in Malaysia for a long time.

Having spent all my life in this country, I've realized that the world perceives us off a reflection on how our government is run. Where effort was not rewarded, where corruption runs rampant, where the seeds of injustice are paraded as clear as day. We have hardly developed. And I as a youth and as an individual Malaysian refuse to just stand by and watch my country fall at the hands of incapabilities.

I'm tired of having to live under a leadership filled with corrupt motives and blatant lies so structured they could rival a mafia organization.

God bless us all.

Shipwrecks off the Bermuda Triangle.

Beautiful isn't it? And ironic, because beauty can be found within destruction.
We just need to look for it.

Wax Paper Chandelier

source: pinterest via (Makeables)

Such prettiness. This paper chandelier. It makes me feel like wanting to put my hands to good use and make something out of it. I've never been one of those girls who are openly attracted to all things pink and glitter. I have to say, I hate glitter. No, hate is too small a word, I loathe, abhor glitter. Everything with glitter, I despise.

However; due to a significant turn of events and character, I've just been attracted to pretty things. Things that scream demure (demurely, of course) and things that give off the aura of delicate. I still stand by my fuming abhorrence of glitter; but I could get used to this girly spark in me.

Pink lemonade *licks lips*.

Before I allow you to question me, let me say so first myself. I have the tendency to post pictures according to whim and feeling. Most of the time, more often than I'd like to admit, I fail and disregard any linking to it in terms of writing. But then again, nobody's really allowed to fault me; because here on the internet, everyone is entitled to freedom of speech (sort of) and belief. I mean, where else would we be given the equal amount of freedom of expression.

So to fill this post up, I'll begin by saying that I've been craving for really odd things these few days. In between trying to grasp the handle of a DSLR camera (which I still find unbelievably technical and very very complex), functioning some new script-writing app, praying my laptop doesn't crash (while trying to fix all these malwares), noting my increasing dependency on beverages and my attempts at trying to fill up my time with many possible productive things as I can, my mind's been too much of a jumble to try and tame.

I find myself reading up on rather domesticated posts on cooking, baking and beverage(ing). Initially, I was appalled at how tame I've become. Then again I find myself extremely unpredictable as I tend to swing in the directions based wholly and completely on my moods. I'm not sure if I can count that as being self-absorbed; but I've honestly had too much of others smothering me with wanting to know everything. I don't want to let it out, at all.

So for the first time in a while, I've curled up in my chair (rather uncomfortably) and am sitting at my desk, rather than in a brightly lit living room writing this post [while waiting for my laptop to finish a security scan and fix damned Skype for causing my system to malfunction a total of 17 times]. Simultaneously, I have the blessed company of my notebook, so precious I'd feel naked if it were missing and a steaming cup of blueberry tea. I know it's probably not the best time to be drinking tea, but it does help me sleep. And I need a dreamless sleep at that tonight.

So while I'm in such a peachy mood now, I'd just like to take some time off my piling assignments and weigh the severity of something that's going to happen. My internship. I've been dreading it, but it's something I will have to face and well, I hope I'll grow to love it. That post, I will leave for another time.

Abandoned Amusement Park, Pripyat, Ukraine.

Pripyat is now a ghost town, since the Chernobyl plant meltdown. Amongst her many ruins is an amusement park.

Tunnel of Love, Kleven, Ukraine

The Tunnel of Love acts as a railway for a private train, supposedly; not that it stops lovers from taking romantic walks along her lines. Little is known of it, except it's found in the woods of Kleven.

And then there's

Nara Dreamland, Japan.

Nara Dreamland shut down permanently in 2006.

All these places share the frontal factor of abandonment (sort of). Nothing positive has been seen of abandonment. But who knew such beauty would exist in a departing state.

I don't know where to begin. Don't know where to look to. Don't know how to start, or comprehend - my state. My situation. My position or any part of me that I've taken for granted for all my existence.

I'm weighed down by my inclining load of assignments and I have yet to find time for myself despite having free hours, where I fill myself with worry instead of peace. I find such pretense in living a lie, but I can't seem to place how my life is a lie.

I'm in no way contented with the structure of things. But then I realize that I'm far too anal and particular about structures, shapes, humans, intuitions and concepts. I just don't understand why I'm such a glutton for wanting to fill myself with a knowledge of being able to understand.

And yet, my perceptions terrify me. I know nothing, but yet feel so much. Too much.

People tell me the simplest things are the most beautiful of them all, and I'm beginning to see it. For lack of a description. For lack of being able to do injustice to such an emotion, so much can only be said. I will no longer look down on the most simplest of words.
